NUS Day of Service 2017

For this year's NUS Day of Service (DOS), the SI Wing decided to introduce Soap for Hope to the community!

We started off by preparing setting up a photo booth for people to take pictures with. To do so, we engaged our CAPT guest, Chris Gilmour - a sculptor, for help (left photo)! We have also gained lots of help and support from our fellow CAPTains before we engaged with our external visitors (right photo).

Visitors who came over to experience our soap-remaking session!

Stefan Phang, the inventor of the Soap for Hope programme also came down to CAPT to interact with the visitors and share with them about the story behind the creation of Soap for Hope (left photo). The team comprising CAPTains then headed down to WestLite@Papan to give out the soap made on NUS DOS to the migrant workers (right photo)!

And with that, NUS DOS 2017 is a success! :)
